We are learning more every day but what we know so far is reassuring for pregnant women and women trying to conceive. Pregnant women can often be more susceptible to viruses like the flu so are urged to follow the guidelines for social distancing and good hygiene like frequent hand washing. Dr. Lora Shahine, reproductive endocrinologist at Pacific NW Fertility and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, completed her residency in OBGYN at the University of California in San Francisco and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Stanford University.
