Self Care is Essential in Your Family Building Journey (not selfish)

Self care is essential in your family building journey (not selfish). Grateful to discuss my passion for self care and emotional wellness in the midst of infertility with Thrive Global Media. ‘Pay attention to emotional wellness and mental health along the way — it is just as important as medical tests and treatment.’

But what do I mean by self care? There is no one ‘right way’ to care for you but find the right path for you.

Adding self care ideas: One on one therapy, Restorative exercise, Mindfulness, Meditation, Walks, Hikes, a Creative outlet

But Taking away can be self care as well: Decrease time with toxic people, Say ‘No’ to events you don’t want to attend, Cut out social media or hide account at that don’t leave you feeling better, inspired

Find what’s right for you whether it’s adding an essential activity or taking one away that leaves you feeling down
